For starters, I was awaken by a call from my dad. He said he wanted to take me out for lunch for my Birthday, but was running late because he was at the Vet. The Family dog, Christopher, the dog I have known since he was a puppy over a decade ago is paralyzed. The vet says it could be 1 of 2 things. One is curable, the other is not. So they are treating him for a week and he will either get better, or be put to sleep.
BTW, my mother did forget my birthday, had to ask me how old I am after I reminded her the next day. She still owes me $50 and asked for $75 more after I reminded her she had missed my birthday.

I heard that Stan Lee was going to be at "Heroes Are Not Hard To Find" AKA: "HeroesCon". I didn't have the $200 to get the Excelsior! Ticket, so I bought a regular ticket. One of my friends is having a birthday soon, so to surprise my friend, I bought a second poster to get signed. I got there early but when I asked, I was told the line was for Excelsior Ticket holders only. So I came back at the time of the signing and I found out that wasn't so. My Uncle Mike died from Pancreatic Cancer. Everyone says I am just like him; kind, gentle, with a big heart. He never complained about the cancer or the pain. and continued to help people until his death. During the week leading up to his death, he lost the ability to move, but he would still help people with their problems by talking them though things. Right before his death he said his only regret was that he could no longer go out and help people, he made arrangements for people to visit him so he could tell them how good life is. Also by his arrangement "We'll Understand It Better By and By" was sung at his memorial.
